SWM111: Critical Thinking and Self-Reflection Assessment 1

Online Help On Reflective e-Portfolio

Assessment Task

Create a Reflective e-Portfolio that demonstrates your engagement with two Self-Reflection Theories discussed in Week 3. This e-Portfolio will serve as a platform to document key experiences, reflections on your learning, as well as steps taken on a specific professional experience.

Content (1000 words, 500 words per model):

  1. Select two Self-Reflection Models from Week 3 that you can easily relate with.

  2. Organise your e-Portfolio by initially discussing the key features of each selected model, namely:

    • Brief description of each model

    • Reason for choosing the model

    • Steps of each chosen model

  3. Then choose and describe a unique professional experience for each model, either from Australia or elsewhere, and provide comprehensive details according to each step, taking into account personal experience and reflection.

  4. Integrate other relevant theories and concepts about Self-Reflection from previous week to deepen your analysis. You are free to expand your references by conducting your own library research.

  5. Use the APA 7th in-text citation. Include a Reference List.

    • This should be a personal account and reflection: do not resort to GenAI for your answers.

Platform

  1. Select a digital platform (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, MP4, AVI, Canva) and submit your draft via the ExO portal by Friday of Week 4.

  2. Incorporate multimedia elements (e.g., images, your or others’ photographs, personal illustrations, videos, audio recordings) to effectively capture your reflections and experiences.

Presentation

  1. Be creative and get inspiration from the internet (e.g., Pinterest Example).

  2. Further enhance your presentation using other multimedia elements to highlight contextual detail and illustrate reflections.

Important Dates

  1. Friday, Week 4 (11pm): Draft submission via ExO portal

    • 10% penalty for late or non-submission.

    • Please note that not submitting a draft by the specified deadline indicates a lack of engagement with the unit.

    • A 10% penalty will be applied to the final e-Portfolio grade for late or non-submission of the draft.

    • The final submission will be evaluated based on the full criteria, with deductions applied accordingly.

    • Submitting a draft on time allows you to engage with the feedback process, refine your work, and enhance the overall quality of your final submission.

  2. Friday, Week 6 (11pm): Final e-Portfolio submission via ExO portal
