Step 1: Choose one topic from either Module 1 or Module 2:

Step 2: Independently search for and identify three (3) peer-reviewed journal articles related to this topic. You should follow the instructions provided in the Week 6 special lecture (see Content page in MyLO).

Step 3: Read the sample article provided for your chosen topic and write a summary of the sample article in your own words. Note: a folder containing sample articles is contained in the Assessment Task 2 folder in Content. Make sure within your summary you have included an in-text citation to the article, and at the end of your assignment in your reference list, you must include a full reference for the sample article,

Step 4: After gathering and reviewing your chosen articles, explain using your own words:

How and why, you chose each of the articles.
What the strengths and weaknesses of each article are; and

How the findings from at least one article contributes to the achievement of a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) C4¹

Step 5: For each chosen article, ensure you have included an in-text citation to the article, and have a full reference in the reference list at the end of your assignment.

You should use the following headings in your assignment: Title: Journal Article Review Exercise

Section 1: Summary of sample article

Section 2: How and why, you chose each of your articles 1, 2 and 3 (note: the process you followed to choose each article may be the same so you can discuss these under the same headings)

Section 3: Strengths and weaknesses of each article 1, 2 and 3 (note: have separate paragraphs for each of the three articles)

Section 4: Sustainable Development Goal (note: you only have to explain how the findings of one article would contribute to a SDG, not all three articles. If you refer to additional sources in your explanation of a SDG, make sure you reference these correctly also)
