Final Assessment Task

You are required to write an essay to discuss the following statements.

"Change is the only constant in the business environment.”

• Consider a major potential change that is happening or may occur in the coming five years
• g. international trade v on-shoring, changes in energy use and costs, merges, leadership/management restructuring,
• AI is not to be included as an Organisational Behaviour topic for this assessment

You are to:

• discuss the potential impact on factor such as organisational structure, cultural, and work-life balance of the employees and business.
• identify a business and the industry in which it is operating (local, international, large, medium, or small)

• if the business is a large organisation try to select a section or department to focus

• briefly discuss the changes that are or maybe taking place

• identify the issues and potential changes occurring in its business environment,

• these changes should be given some thought to allow you scope, in terms of exploring organisational theory and its use in motivating and leading the business and staff

• the change(s) may be impacting the business itself or the industry in general

Next consider:

:

• the impact on the organisational structure and the resulting effect this may have on the employees,

Followed by how you as a manager would use Organisational Principles/Theories/Concepts

• to help your employees through the change.

The organisational behaviour tools can be taken from any of the modules.

You may consider:

• how changes may impact perception of self and roles in teams and the organisation
• what performance practices and motivational theories or concepts you would use in maintaining an if effective operation
• does conflict arise in your scenario and how it would be managed
• are there impacts on leadership and the style required along with the communication impacts and needs
• this list is not exhaustive – you may have additional ideas.

INSTRUCTIONS
