Introduction The business model canvas introduced by Osterwalder and Pigneur could be mainly explained as a lean start-up and strategic management template for documenting existing or developing new business models. The business canvas model is mainly a visual chart with nine building blocks or elements that describes the organisation's business operation. The nine-building blocks or the elements are; key partners, key activities, key resources, value proposition, customer relationships, channels, customer segments, cost structure and revenue streams (Keaneet al. 2018). It has been stated that the business model canvas is the most widespread and common tool for business model innovations. The nine different building blocks or the elements assist to attain a fast and comprehensive overview of the organization's business model. The study is going to encompass the business model canvas to three different organisations. Company A: Alaw Alaw is mainly a B2B model-based organisation that offers accountancy and finance software applications to small scale business organisations. The service offered by the business organisation requires monthly subscriptions. The business organisation's package mainly provides all the financial software that a small business organization would require to operate their business such as payroll, invoicing, reporting and many more. The agreement allows the clients to store their customer's data in the cloud or by the Alaw. At first, the three-month service is free of cost and after that; the service requires a monthly subscription. The software is regularly updated and update charges are already included in the service fee, the client does not need to pay any additional amount for the updates (Urbanet al. 2018). The business organization has witnessed an exponential growth of 15% year by year. It could be stated that business and marketing strategies are working quite well for the organisation. It is the primary focus on the organisation to continuously grow and expand. The headquarters of the organisations are located in Bangor; there are a total of 110 employees at Alaw. The business organization has built a strong reputation in the market as they can meet the customer's needs and the organization can satisfy its customers through their product and service. The organization focuses on providing standard quality service so that the needs and expectations of the customers could be fulfilled. The following table represents the business canvas model applied to the business operation of Alaw.
