Task:

You are expected to read mg of the 20 text books outlined in the document "books for reading". Some of these books can be found in the la Trobe library and a copy of each book can also be borrowed from the subject lecturer. Please note that the lecturer only has only one copy of each book and preferences over books will be given to whoever asks for them first. To borrow a book you must leave a cash deposit. It is also highly recommended and preferred that you purchase a copy of the book you are reading as it will serve you well into the future.
You must submit your book report in 3 parts. This means that when you first borrow a book, you should look at how many pages the book contains and divide it approximately into three parts. Each part should be read in accordance to the due date of the "Reflective learning" entries on IMS. The book report entries will coincide with your journal entries that are required as part of the "Reflective learning" in Ideas to Innovation. For each of the entries you will address two sections/questions.

Questions:

1. Describe what you have learnt, discovered in this part of the book. (200.400 words)

2. How can your answer from part 1 be related and applied to what you are doing in Ideas to Innovation and in everyday life? (200-400 words)

Some other questions to consider when answering the above two

• What is your favorite quote from the book? Why? Which part attracts you most and why?
• What are the the key-points made by the author? What, if anything, makes this an important work?
• What does the reader stand to gain by reading this book? How does this book affect you on the whole? How does the author achieve this? 
• What creative value does this book contribute?
• What did you learn? What insights did you gain? Does the book make a unique contribution to knowledge or wisdom?
•  What surprised you? Did you ever have an a h-ha moment while reading the book?
