Assignment Help on Critical Reflection

Task One – 2000 words – Sunday 15 May

Description of Task

The article, ‘Seven strong claims about successful school leadership revisited’. The article 'Seven strong claims about successful school leadership revisited' is an excellent piece that will really let you think about leadership in various ways to help build off your experiences, suspicions, and ideas about leading and managing schools. The article's broad scope of ideas, also means you have a wide array of options to talk about in your critical reflection, and you can talk about as many or as few of those ideas as you would like.

You are required to write a critical reflection after reading the article. This could include:

Introduction:

Make clear if you agree/disagree with the author’s argument/content. Body of the essay:

Tell us over a few paragraphs why you think the author’s ideas are right/wrong. These ideas need to be supported by evidence. Nothing substantial, a reference for each of your major points will be plenty. You can also use personal experiences, but link these to policies/reports etc. You can’t submit a masters level essay with no references.

Conclusion:

Explain how the major points you’ve raised in the body of the text combine to justify your view on Gilbert’s work.

This assessment is NOT a summary/review of the article. If you provide a review of the article you will do poorly. You can summarise the article in two sentences in the introduction.

The assessment is asking you to critique the article, as much of the body of the text as possible needs to be about you telling us why you agree/do not agree with the article with references. DO NOT tell us you agree/do not agree with the article and then repeat the article back to us

You can use APA 6 formatting style, but APA 7 is preferred.
