Description of Task | |||
Prepare and video record three spoken responses to three statements regarding learning and communication. These statements will be connected to the content from each of the relevant weeks, including the set readings and online materials in LMS and the class and group discussions. The statements will be discussed during the online sessions. Use the ideas from the readings, the online materials and discussions, other interactive activities as well as your own experiences to shape your response.
Video record each of your two- to three-minute responses. Do not go longer than three minutes. Use your camera on your phone or other device. You may use written notes to assist you during your speaking but you should not read aloud your text. Speak directly to the camera. Do not use other aids (such as PowerPoint presentations). You may record as many times as you need to before settling on a version that you are happy with. Upload each video to the relevant section of your Pebble Pad workbook (see the link in LMS). Provide a short written comment about each responses in the spaces available in the workbook. (There is a space on the first page of the workbook where, if you wish, you can upload a practice video. That will not be included in your final mark for this task.) Listen to each of your responses and decide which two you think are the better responses. Indicate which two you consider your better responses in the space available on the workbook. |
