Create a 30-minute reading lesson using an explicit teaching procedure and a decodable reading available in Assessment file on Bb.

Part A

Design a 2-hour English literacy block for a Year 1 Primary classroom which links theory and practice for effective teaching. Include curriculum, step by step elements for each of the lessons, assessment and differentiation. Teacher resources must include a picture book for shared reading and a non-fiction text as the basis for teaching writing.
