Though introducing cashless debit card is not the only option to reduce the spending on drugs and alcohol, in fact there are many other ways that can be adapted (Cape York Partnership, 2017). Many individuals have taken such policies as positive step, however at the same time, many recipients have shown their concerns. On 15th march 2016, the first trial of cashless debit card was conducted by the federal government in Ceduna.
