ASSESSMENT DESCRIPTION:

• Assessment will require students to research and write a 2,000-word individual essay
• Question will comprise both theoretical and problem-based components aimed at testing the students’ ability to critically analyse areas of the law, as well as demonstrating the student’s ability to use the IRAC method in order to apply relevant law to a given case study
• Question will be released in Week 4 and advice will be provided to students during the Week 6 and 7 tutorial hours
• Sample essays will be uploaded to Moodle to help with structuring your essay
• Student must demonstrate research skills by using at least two sources that were not mentioned in the class textbook or weekly slides
