At one side, student states that constant monitoring of employees challenges the autonomy, morale and trust of the employees as they feel observed, anxious and mistrusted. also, student 1 mentions that business can become successful if they practice mutual respect and initiates honest communication with the employees, instead of constantly monitoring them. this gives rise to a question, that if organisations can do better with open communication and mutual respect, then why should it also consider visual monitoring, even if it poses negative effects on the employees, as the student says that relying upon surveillance only makes employees being micromanaged?
