Purpose 

For students to experience a tourist attraction and reflect on that experience.

Task details

Students are required to select one of the Melbourne tourist attractions listed in the Subject Learning Guide. When visiting the attraction, they are required to take notes, reflect on their experience and address a series of questions listed in the Subject Learning Guide.

Instructions

• For more details about this Report please refer to pages 15, 16 and 17 of the Subject Learning Guide where much more detailed instructions are provided.
• In the one submission file students should create the following sections: Part 1 - Table of Contents, Part 2 - Introduction, Part 3 - Body of Report, Part 4 - Recommendations and Conclusion, Part 5 - Appendices, Part 6 - Reference List.
• Students are required to include a minimum of five (5) academic references, cited correctly and used appropriately.

Resources and readings relevant to the assessment

• The Subject Learning Guide, the prescribed text by Cooper (2022)  and the recommended texts by Page (2019); Morrison & Buhalis
• (2024); Weaver and Lawton (2014) are all useful for this assignment
