ACCT 5101 Pretest (Updated 10/18/2022) REQUIRED for the following students (these students are required to take the ACCT 5101 Pretest andpass it): all students who completed an equivalent to ACCT 2051 at another institution all students who have not received a B- or better in ACCT 2051 here at the University of Minnesota -TC. Students get one opportunity to take and pass this exam (with a score of 70% or better). Students who score between 65% to 69% are eligible to take the ACCT 5101 Retake Exam. Any score lower than 65% is considered to have not passed the exam and will have to take ACCT 2051 here at the University of Minnesota -TC. If you qualify to take a retake, the retake dates are offered on the same exam dates as listed below. Therefore, you should plan to take the pretest by or before the July exam date if you are planning to take ACCT 5101 in fall semester and by or before the December exam date if you are planning to take ACCT 5101 in spring semester. Exam Scheduling: email[email protected] There is no cost for taking the exam. Students are allowed up to 3.5 hours to complete the test. Students will take the exam online and use their laptop calculator for calculations. The last day to take the pretest in order to maintain enrollment for the following semester is one week prior to the start of each semester.
