Assessment Task 6 – Project Documentation

Using the Alexander Street apartments project documentation, complete the following task:

1. Identify the passive and active fire control elements in the documentation for the building, outlining the function of each in terms of fire control and the relevant part of the BCA (NCC) where the requirement is stated.

2. Using the services drawings for this project (electrical, fire, hydraulics, lift, mechanical) , determine whether construction would meet the relevant performance requirements. Prepare a 5 minute presentation based on your conclusion and discuss assessment methods you have used to determine your conclusion.

Note you must include at least one performance requirement identified for each service.
