Your tasks
Using the information below and that provided in Assessment Tasks 1. 2 and 3. your task is to prepare a written variance report, PowerPoint presentation and knowledge questions as explained here. Further information you need is provided on the following pages.

1. Variance report
Produce a variance report between the actual results achieved for the 201g-2020 financial year (see below) and the budget that you produced for the same period in Assessment Task 2.

Include the following ratios and financial information into your report.

1. Current ratio.
2. Quick ratio.
3. Gross Profit ratio
4. Net Profit ratio

2. PowerPoint presentation
You are to prepare a 15-minute PowerPoint presentation (maximum of 15 slides) intended for the General Manager. the Sales Manager. and Department Managers. The presentation talk should also be written out. In your report you must make comment on the appropriateness of the motor vehicle purchase.

In your presentation you must address each of the following four areas.

1. The effectiveness of the current financial management processes. Are they giving the business accurate. sufficient and appropriate financial information in a timely manner?
2. Significant issues that the managers need to be aware of. together with a prioritisation of them (think of ratios).
3. Recommendations you would make to ensure the financial viability of the business.
4. Recommendations for the best type of computer software for the management and preparation of financial records and reports for the business and the reasons for your selection.

Your PowerPoint presentation should include visual aids. such as graphs. as appropriate. At the beginning of the presentation insert a title page and include the name of the organisation. a title and your name and the date (at the bottom).
