Develop a portfolio of visual arts experiences for young children

Instructions for TCDS208
Plan, implement, and evaluate a suite of six (6) visual arts experiences. You should refer to the national and state Early Years frameworks documents. You may decide to include activities/lesson plans for an age range from babies to kindergarten /or/ focus only on the kindergarten (4-5) years.
Experiences are to reflect children’s interests and cultural heritage.
For each of these arts experiences, provide:
- Learning outcomes from the early years frameworks
- A description of the activity including level it is intended for, ideas for implementing it and the roles of the children and teacher.
- A rationale for why it was chosen.
- Extension ideas.
- All motivational materials, picture story book samples, sound or video recordings on CD or DVD to accompany the arts experiences
- Appropriate referencing of the source of the activity, resources used etc.
Experiences should be recorded using appropriate resources.
Presentation for this assignment can be in any appropriate format including video or photographs.
Privacy and confidentiality must be strictly adhered to when completing this assignment, with appropriate referencing of images and text.

- Identify and document the stages of children’s visual art development and make links to literacy and mathematics development
- Design, plan, implement and evaluate a range of art experiences to reflect the interests, cultural heritage and developmental needs of young children
