Assessment Task 3 – Case Study

Task 1

Create   one of the following forms, from the beginning.

1. Product order form template  for  stationery
   
2. Student Enrolment form template
   
3. Student  database spreadsheet template
   
4. Brochure or flyer template advertising   student  social  excursions  ( which are held monthly on a Saturday )

You may  choose from a  wide  range of  commercial or organizational software packages to create your document :

• Word  processing programme
• Databases
• Desktop publishing
• spreadsheets

TASK 2

Answer the following  questions

1. State which software package you have used to create your document
   
2. Write a   report on how you  completed the  template
   
3. Explain  the  design features of  the new   template you have  created
   
4. Describe  why   you  incorporated these functions , and design features   into the template
   
5. How will you get feedback from your colleagues  after the first month of using the    new document template ?
   
6. Create the template and test it and check it for accuracy and ease of use. Report on your findings and state any  adjustments or changes you made to your template , after testing.
   
7. Create explanatory notes to go with this document ensuring all facets of the document are explained in plain English with screen shots included.
