Research one social disadvantage issue.  Select 2 recent articles from social work, social welfare, socio-legal or social policy journals. Summarize the ideas/ arguments presented. Students will use the following framework to complete each text analysis:

1. Correct citation of the journal article using APA (6th edition) referencing style
2. A summary of the ideas/ arguments presented in the articles
3. Explain what theories or debates underpin the information presented in the article  
4. Show critical reflection of the information presented in the article – what is the significance of this information to you?
