Sustainability Marketing Brief
Sustainability Marketing Assignment Introduction
Sustainability marketing assignment is a self-perpetuating strategy that is not only good for the environment but is also good for business, it requires a thorough plan that is spanned out for years to reach the point of self-perpetuity. Neste Corporation is the best example of a sustainable marketing strategy because it is a petroleum refinery and it works very hard to reduce its harmful emissions which is a part of its operation. By introducing renewable products (biofuels) Neste has been successful to land third in the Global 100 ranking (Strauss, 2019). Tesla I believe can be termed as the face of sustainable marketing as its products are already a symbol of sustainability and with the quality it is providing it has launched itself to a status that gives it the best form of marketing which is word of mouth. Tesla is only 14 years old and is compared to giants like general motors which is 109 year old organization, sustainable strategies by Tesla has made this possible. Tesla’s products back what they market which increases its customer base (Szekely, 2017). I chose Tesla and Neste to show how such different products can be marketed through sustainable strategies, the products at Tesla are based on sustainability while Neste is a petroleum refinery which emits a lot of harmful gasses.
