Design of Project Delivery System influences the success or failure of the implementation phase of a project. It is not just about selecting a contract model; it provides a framework for procurement of goods and services needed to implement the project. This assignment requires students to design a delivery system for a project of their interest and should include a systematic review of project delivery systems; methodology, process and approach to project delivery system design; assumptions & constrains and delivery system evaluation criteria. To consolidate the ideas, student may refer to the figure given below which shows a generic approach to project delivery system design. In addition, student may also refer to some of the real-life projects to develop their ideas.
