MDA30011 Global Screen Studies: Beyond Hollywood Final Project

Your final assessment task is a 2500-word research essay on a topic of your choice. You have considerable freedom to develop this project around your own research interests, which is why we are not setting essay questions for the whole class. However, there are 2 important requirements:
1. The topic you choose must be clearly connected to the unit theme of global film and television (remember the subtitle of this unit is “Beyond Hollywood”). We suggest you focus on one of the following: a text, a genre, an institution, or a debate.
2. Your research question should include one or more of the critical concepts listed in the Keywords column on page 2 of the syllabus.
