Task 1: Identify menu requirements
Identify and record menu requirements for a specific range of people with special dietary requirements by:
- identifying dietary and cultural or religious menu requirements
- assessing contemporary dietary trends and regimes
- liaising with other professionals
- identifying health consequences of ignoring special dietary requirements
Upload a document labelled SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS that summarises the dietary requirements for each of the menus / meal plans you selected for Task 2 i.e.
- two (2) cultural or religious dietary groups e.g. Hindu, kosher, vegan, vegetarian
- two (2) different customer groups e.g. elderly, children aged 4 – 6 years
- two (2) different customer groups with special dietary requirements e.g. those with weight problems, those living with diabetes
