ASSIGNMENT 2 – THEORY DISCUSSION

Define your research area (management, entrepreneurship, marketing, organizational behavior, human resource management, strategic management, supply chain management, knowledge management etc). Choose an important area for you to focus in that research area. Read many journals articles related with the area you want to focus (minimum 20 articles).  Then, write an assignment to answer these issues/questions.

• The history and development (may be refinement or improvement) of this Theory.
• Concept, definition, assumptions or principles, functions, variables, and propositions/hypotheses related with this Theory.

2.Why that Theory is important? Please explain.

3.Based on your readings, which academic disciplines employed this theory in their studies? Please explain and give examples. 

4.Discuss the independent variables, dependent variables and/or mediating variables explained by this Theory. (You can show examples of empirical framework of these studies in Appendix).
