Briefing document for BUSM 1539 Assessment 2
Assessment name: Research Project work-in-progress report
Description: In assignment 1, you developed a research proposal that addressed the following:
- Reason for the research (why are you doing it?)
- Who is the client?
- Who is the academic supervisor?
- Project outline: what is it about?
- Objectives to be achieved: what do you want to achieve?
- Research questions: what research are you going to do?
- Suggested methodology: how are you going to do the research?
- Project timing: when will you finish, and what are some of the key dates and deliverables- including the deliverable which will be submitted as work-in-progress as part of assessment 2, and as the final report and PowerPoint as part of assessment 3
This assignment is aimed at assessing your work-in-progress deliverable as you detailed in assignment 1.
Once this assignment 2 is approved by the Course Coordinator, the student can proceed with the research and finalise the research report.
It is recommended that this assignment follows the same structure as that for the final report, with the progress entered into the appropriate chapter headings.
In addition, please let the Course Coordinator know your availability for a weekly catch up via phone.
