Assessment Task 2: Team Live Case Analysis

Task Description:

Students are required to form into teams of 5 people and complete the following tasks: 

1. Locate an organisation that has undertaken a major change in its organisational strategy within the last 5 years 
2. Undertake secondary research on the nature and scope of the organisation’s change (i.e., from online news sources) 
3. Identify THREE (3) HRM practices (from the list of topics in this unit) and analyse how they were used as part of the organisation’s change of strategy (either successfully or unsuccessfully) 
4. Present your work as a 10–15-minute presentation (recorded and submitted to MyLO as a .mp4 file) AND the PowerPopint slides with any notes you want to include about your work therein.  

As part of your submission, clearly identify what aspects of the work were authored or spoken by each team member (5 marks for individual contribution) 

You may please like to note the following for AT-2:

• Every group member must contribute to and participate in preparation of AT-2. 

• Irrespective of size of group (5 members), recorded presentation (Mp4.) must not exceed 15 mints and presentation time must be distributed equally among group members. 

• While recording your presentation, please ensure that your camera is open and working/fit for the purpose.  

• It is up to groups to decide the number of slides in their presentation. 

• Your notes within PPT should correspond to your presentation. These notes can be in form of short sentences and/or bullet points but must be clear to reader.  Your slides and notes may have in-text citations (where necessary). 

• Please include a list of references in your PPT. 

• You can choose any type of organization-profitable, not-for-profit etc. and located anywhere in the world but must be fit for the purpose of AT-2. 

• Each group must submit and/or upload 3 files on MyLo- Mp4, PPT and Team agreement document. Please note presentations are not in-class/face-to-face. This means 3 files per group. 

• Please note:

• 1. Please ACCURATELY reference the academic journal publications. You will need to use the Harvard Referencing Style Guide for your in-text and full reference citations.

• 2. Word count does not include references.
