Blue Spider Critique
After reading through your post, I must say it has an interesting and engaging content that kept my attention through the post. The difference between project management and change management is clearly highlighted and differentiated as well. Best part with the post is how the case study of Blue Spider is linked with this post. Project management is all about managing a project, looking after all the various aspects that are involved and linked with the project either directly or indirectly. A proper documentation is required through out the management of a project. Whereas on the other hand as mentioned and pointed out in the post that change management is the process of adapting and implement a change in order to be able to get to point B from point A. As stated by Crawford, Aitken and Hassner, 2014, a change can simple include a major change in the system or simple process change. In the case of Blue Spider, Gary Anderson a well learned and visionary mechanical, he was very capable of managing the change, however due to the lack of communication was one of the main reason for not able to successfully implementing the change. In any project, managing it successfully rely on various aspect and one of the main key aspect that ensure the success of any project is by ensuring proper communication, which in the case of Blue Spider was missing.
