Part A: Analysis

Using ONE contemporary leadership theory (I choose transformational leadership):

  • Analyse how the principles of the theory contribute to the development of your own leadership abilities.
  • Use current literature to support your analysis.

Teacher's explanation for part A: 

If we were to think about adaptive leadership and if I was to then analyse how those principles contribute to the development of my own leadership abilities I might talk about flexibility so I might talk about you how one of the principles of adaptive leadership theory is around flexibility and participating and how I need to you know how I'm going to work on being more flexible in different situations which would require me to be open to others voices and open to others ways of doing things so that it didn't always have to be my way so I might start to talk about that a little bit and I would bring in contemporary literature as well current literature to support that analysis.

Part B: Creative representation

Create and present a creative representation of your future leadership development.

  • The representation is a creative analysis of how you plan to develop and grow your own leadership skills using the chosen contemporary leadership theory as a model.
  • The creative representation can be presented in a variety of ways.
  • Provide a brief explanation of the ideas presented in the creative presentation – 100 words maximum.

Pick up any Pic from internet that refers to contemporary leadership theory and then describe it 100 words maximum

I've chosen the snakes and ladders game because my leadership I feel like I grow, and I know go up a ladder but then there are times when I know I go down the snake and I slide backwards...
