The purpose of this report is to penetrate into an entrepreneur’s life and demonstrate how he progressed. The person whom I selected for my interview was Mr. Abbas Sayed, proprietor of Ghan Rug warehouse. Before I opted to interview Mr. Abbas Sayed, I scrutinized many business setups small and large. But I found Ghan Rugs as the most appropriate business with a simple and short history of success. Mr. Abbas started his career in Australia as a process worker in companies manufacturing different commodities. He was not satisfied with his job and wanted to do something of his own. It was a one man show as he himself visited Afghanistan, selects rugs made by different tribes, import the same to Australia and sell it in the open consumer market. Being solo in this type of business he got a very good response. Later on he added other products like jewelry and furniture in his list.

The main purpose of my interview was to come up with an understanding of what it takes to start and build a company, on a personal level on the part of the entrepreneur and operationally.
