In light of significant global developments, the course "Work and Organisation Systems" explores the key organisational system concerns that managers must understand and address. These issues are taken into account in terms of how individuals interact with the organisational setting in which they operate. Two approaches are prioritised in the course. First, to learn how to become a more effective leader and manager by expanding one's knowledge and understanding of organisational systems/structures and human behaviour through opportunities for applied learning. The themes covered include fundamental ideas about organisations, people, and groups, as well as leadership and management. Second, because reflective practice is at the heart of critical thinking, students will be asked to take a critical approach to their practice and the context in which they work.
