TLAW607 Business and Corporations Law

Business law and corporation law, are the body of rules that applies to the rights, relations and behaviour of the persons or businesses that are engaged in commerce, trade and sales. The unit is divided into two parts: business law and corporation law. The foundation, functioning, and administration of the Australian legal system as well as the workings of contract law are introduced to students in Part A. Part B, on the other hand, is concerned with the legal requirements governing business structures and the factors to consider when starting a business, with a focus on risk management, asset protection, and limited liability under the Australian corporation law.
