Part C | The Diversity Policy
*Note: If you are not working in the actual patient transport environment, you may apply some ‘creative licence or assumptions’ using the Q Paramedical simulated organisation for your response to the following. The key is to evidence your understanding of the response required for the following in a paramedical and patient transport services environment
1. Outline the purpose and intent of the organisational Diversity Policy. (40-80 words)
2. Identify the benefits of the Diversity policy relevant to how it can impact on the delivery of patient and paramedical services. (60-100 words or dot point responses acceptable)
3. Explain your use of verbal and non-verbal communication, including gestures and body language, related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait island people, also include where you could access assistance and cultural support (200-300 words or sufficient dot points to meet the questions outcome)
