You have been given the responsibility for designing a framework that provides direction for what the HR function looks like and what are the capabilities and behaviours desired of the HR staff. 

You have been directed to the frameworks developed by HR professional associations such as AHRI, CIPD, SHRM, HRINZ, and the adaptations that have been used in the public service in various Australian states and territories.

• Think about the language adopted: will it be a code of conduct, a map, a set of capabilities?

• How will you communicate the framework visually?

• How would you explain the central features of the framework if you only had a few minutes to do so?
