PG(6486)  Assignment 2- Research Plan. (Clinical Trial Protocol, Systematic Review Protocol, Grant application, or Ethics application)

This assessment asks you to prepare a research plan. This is  fully developed procedure for conducting a project. Many students will go on to conduct this research next semester, so it is important to put in the work now, and get this right. Careful planning and preparation is everything in research. This research plan can be submitted a choice of four ways; a Systematic review protocol, Clinical trial protocol, a Grant application, or an Ethics application.

Some templates, grants, and forms have specific word limits you must follow. If there is no listed limit, then the general rule is abstracts will be 250 words, and assignments 3000 words, not including title, abstract, reference lists, figures, tables or captions.

There are these options for your submission

1. 1. A Clinical Trial Protocol
2. A Systematic Review Protocol
3. A Grant Application
4. An Ethics Application   (HAVE TO DO THIS )

All of these options involve preparing a research protocol.  The format this takes is modified slightly for each assignment option.

Take the literature review from the first assignment, in which you finished up with the 'gap in our current knowledge'. Your project is going to fill this gap. Develop the research question. Then design the project that is going to answer that research question.
