Human Resources HR

Human Resources (HR) is an integral part of a company that looks over all the employees in the business. HR is described as a platform that helps the workforce to efficiently utilize the employees’ different set of skills. As soon as businesses are digitally transformed the HR supervisors provide counselling, training and administration that has a significant impact on the efficiency of the workforce (Betchoo, 2016). The digital transformation of HR will alter everything about the way the employees work that is the nature of the business activity, career systems, understanding, employees, employees’ expectation and skills that are required to perform (Selke & Soule, 2016).

There has been an increasing changing trend in the HR technology in todays’ businesses. BasuMallick (2020) have explained how has technology impact the workings of the Human Resources Department, there has been a change in performance appraisals. In 2010, performance management was associate to yearly appraisals and feedback was accumulated directly through the reporting manager. However, after ten years real-time feedback is conducted by the HR that was internally associated to short-term business results. Moreover, the utilization of data analytics by the HR has a significant influence over the business activities of them, from hiring to planning of workforce, from advantages management to inclusion and diversity. Furthermore, models of Data Analytics can help the HR managers to precisely predict that whether this employee would be good for the company in the future or not. The data analytics model also help in deciding for something on spot.
