You are required to create a report on the AI tool featured in the case study presented by your group for the CEO or team leader of your current workplace (or past/hypothetical workplace). After introducing the tool and considering the challenges and opportunities for adopting this tool in your own workplace, you will then need to present evidence-based recommendations for your CEO or team leader to consider. Assessment Details
Think about the AI tool described in the case study you presented with your group. For Assignment 3, imagine you are preparing a report for your current workplace (or a past or hypothetical workplace if you are not currently working). Imagine that your CEO or team leader is thinking of adopting the same AI tool and wants to thoughtfully consider the pros and cons before they introduce it in your workplace.
In your report, describe: a) The negatives (elements of the AI tool that were poor). What were the barriers to uptake? Do you have similar barriers? How can you ready your workforce for better uptake, employee experience, and performance outputs? Why will it be easier/harder/different in your own workplace (or past/hypothetical) than in the case you presented? Set the scene and provide the context with details and information about your workplace. b) The positives (elements that were strong). What should your organisation know and take from the positives in the case? Is there any future-proofing needed, specifically relating to your organisations needs/composition?
While you and your group members will be writing about the same AI tool from the case you presented, each individual report will be unique, in that you are contextualising this report based on the needs/strengths/weaknesses of your own (or past/hypothetical) workplace. Provide a background/profile of your workplace to contextualise your arguments.
Refer to existing research as you build evidence-based recommendations. What are the theoretical arguments for/against this tool?
